“Grace Erin Reid has been fantastic to work with because she helps embed steps and processes that shift the burden of lifting the equity flag away from one person”
Project Mission Net Zero Bristol brought me in to support an 11-partner Innovate UK consortium shaping a £3.3bn regional clean energy investment pipeline. Inclusion and Just Transition were already priorities within the programme, but project partners were unsure how to apply them consistently across the workstreams.
I created the Cross-Cutting Challenges Framework and the Just Transition in Action Model to give partners a common language, clearer ownership and a more consistent approach across the programme. The work helped partners use Inclusion and Just Transition to shape decisions, delivery and accountability across the consortium.
As Lizzi Testani, CEO of Bristol Climate & Nature Partnership, reflected: “Grace Erin Reid has been fantastic to work with because she helps embed steps and processes that shift the burden of lifting the equity flag away from one person and she can see clearly the gap between individual intentions and systems at work and has worked with empathy, skill and positivity to turn a bunch of people into Just Transition advocates.”
